Bible Craft for Jesus Heals a Deaf Man

Materials:

1. for the Lord Jesus' hand; construction paper, flesh colored felt pen, crayon or paint

2. For the deaf man; construction paper, pencil to draw in his hair, eyes and nose, flesh colored felt pen, crayon or paint, color you like for his eyes, pink for his lips

Instructions:

1. Cut out the drawing of the deaf man's head.. draw in the eyes, nose and hair, color his skin with the flesh color and color his eyes as you like, color his lips pale pink

Tell the children that one day some people brought a man to the Lord Jesus who was deaf and could not speak because his tongue was held too tightly.

2. Cut out the drawing of the Lord Jesus' hand, color it with the flesh color

Tell the children that the Lord Jesus put his fingers into the man's ears, then he spit and touched the man's tongue, and he said "Be Opened"

Tell them that right away the man's ears were opened and he could hear, and he could speak plainly because his tongue was loosened.

Explain to them that Jesus told them not to tell anyone, but that they told everyone, and everyone that heard was amazed.
