Instructions:
1. Cut out the drawings of Hannah, paste them onto heavy construction paper. color them as you like.
Explain to the children how in the first drawing, Hannah is praying in her heart, and you can tell because her mouth is closed. Tell them how Hannah prayed for a baby boy, and that she promised to give him to the Lord's service.
2.. Trace baby Samuel onto the cardboard or construction paper, draw in a face and hair, if each child has a drawing they can draw in their own face.. color the blanket as you like.
Explain to the children how God heard Hannah's prayer even though she prayed silently in her heart. Tell them that Hannah praised the Lord when her baby boy was born, and that when he no longer needed milk, she took him to the temple where he stayed with Eli.
