Bible Story Craft/Activity for Baptism of Jesus

Materials:

1.  Oblong container of water, couple of inches deep
2.  White construction paper, or paint, felt pen or crayon

Instructions:

1.  Cut out the dove, paste it with white construction paper or paint or color it white. 
2.  Explain how the Lord Jesus came to John the Baptist while he was baptizing in the Jordan River. 
3.  Demonstrate how John baptized him with water.  If you believe that the Lord Jesus was submerged, (as I do) then show him going under the water and rising again.
4.  Lift the dove up above the container of water, and show how it came down from heaven.  Explain how it landed on the Lord Jesus, and how the voice of God said "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."
