Bible Craft for Joseph's Coat

Materials:

1.  Cardboard, felt pens or crayons, whatever lovely colors you like.

Instructions:

Cut out the coat, paste on cardboard, color it whatever colors you like, in whatever way you like, the more colors the better.

Explain to the children how Jacob made for Joseph a coat of many colors, and how much his brothers hated him.  Explain how they wanted to kill Joseph, but instead how they put him in a pit, and then sold him to a caravan who took him to Egypt.  Explain how they put the blood of an animal on the coat and took it to Jacob, and told him that Joseph was dead, and how Jacob grieved for his son.
