Bible Craft for Wedding in Cana

Materials:

1.  For the waterpots, cardboard, or construction paper; felt pens or crayon whatever color you like.  Blue crayon or felt pen for the color of the water.
2.  For the pitchers, construction paper, felt pen or crayon what color you like, deep red for the color of the wine.

Instructions:

1.  Cut out the water pot, trace it six times onto cardboard or construction paper, color it what color you like, color the top blue for the water inside.

2.  Trace the pitcher onto construction paper, or other paper, color it what color you like, color the top deep red for the wine inside.

Explain to the children how the Lord Jesus and his disciples were invited  to a wedding, and how his mother Mary told him that there was no more wine.  Explain how the Lord Jesus told the servants to fill six waterpots with water.  Explain how He told them to fill their pitchers and take it to the feast.  Explain how the water in the pitchers turned to wine, and how the people at the feast thought that the wine was better than the wine they had at the beginning of the feast.  Tell them how this was the first miracle that the Lord Jesus performed.
