Psalm 150
a psalm of praise
1. Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sacred place: praise him in the wide expanse of his power.
2. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
3. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
4. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
5. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
6. Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the Lord.

What a beautiful psalm of praising the Lord this is! Praising the Lord is being grateful to the LORD for who he is, for our salvation, for his great mercies and tenderness towards us. It is worshipping, and honouring the Lord.
The worshippers here are not told to praise the Lord in a quiet way, on the contrary, they are told to praise the Lord with musical instruments - the trumpet, psaltery (which is unknown to us today), harp, timbrel (a type of drum), stringed instruments, organs, and cymbals.. The reason we know more than one worshipper is meant is by the use of the word "ye" this is a plural word.
The Lord is to be praised in his sanctuary, that means a sacred place. Therefore the Lord in his heaven is to be praised, and the Lord whose presence is with us in spirit in the church is to be praised.
Praise the Lord for his mighty acts, because of his greatness.
Every thing that has breath is to praise the LORD.. that would be every person, every created being in its way, let every being praise the Lord.. The book of Revelation, chapter 5, verse 13 tells us that one day, every creature that is in heaven, that is on earth, that is under the earth (those who have died), and all that are in the sea, will say "Blessing, honour and glory, and power, be unto him that sits upon the throne (God the Father) and to the Lamb (the Lord Jesus Christ) for ever. One day every knee will bow, every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
Amen.
