One day,  Jesus  went up into a mountain, and called some of the disciples to him.  And he chose twelve, who were known as the aspostles,  to be with him, and to go out preaching, and to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils.  These are the twelve Jesus chose, Simon who he named Peter, James and John,  Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James, Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot.

And after that they went into a boat and Jesus said to them "Let us go over to the other side of the lake" and so the boat was launched, and there were other boats with them.

But as they sailed, Jesus fell asleep on a pillow in the back part of the ship, and then there came down the lake a great windstorm, and the waves became so large, that the boat filled with water, and the disciples thought that they were in very great trouble.

And so they went to Jesus and woke him, saying "Master, master, we die! don't you care that we are going to die?" Then Jesus arose, and commanded the wind and the waves to stop, saying "Peace, be still." and the wind stopped and  there was a great calm.  And Jesus said to them, "Why are you so fearful?  Where is your faith?"  And they, being afraid wondered, saying to each other, "what kind of man is this! for he commands even the wind and water, and they obey him."

Memory Verse: Mark 4:39 "And he arose, and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, Peace be still...and the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
