Jesus and the Soldier
Matthew 8:5-12

One day Jesus entered a town called Capernaum, and a soldier, called a centurion, came to him and pleaded with him saying "Lord, my servant lies home very sick of the palsy." And Jesus said to him "I will come and heal him."
But the soldier answered and said "Lord, I am not worthy that you should come to my house: but speak the word only, and my servant will be healed. For I am a man with authority, and I have soldiers under me; and I say to this one Go, and he goes, and to another Come, and he comes; and to my servant, Do this, and he does it."
When Jesus heard this he marveled, and said to those that followed him "Truly I say to you, I have not found so great faith in all of Israel." And Jesus said to the soldier "Go your way, and as you have believed, so be it done to you."
And the soldier's servant was healed in the very same hour.
Memory Verse: Matthew 8:13 "And Jesus said to the soldier "Go your way, and as you have believed, so be it done to you."
